Penson Worldwide is committed to supporting the communities of each of our subsidiaries through volunteer endeavors and the sponsorship of non-profit organizations.  Penson team members bring to their community service the same qualities they bring to their professional work: excellence, commitment, innovation and an appreciation of both the "big picture" and the importance of the individual. Penson supports events and organizations including:
Sense International
Sense International works in partnership to provide services and raise awareness of the needs of deafblind people and their families so they can connect, participate and contribute to their communities. In 2009, Penson supported construction of the Bwanda Deafblind School in Uganda.  Sense International and Penson have teamed up again in 2011 to raise funds to support the school and community outreach programs for deafblind people. 
The Water Project
Nearly 1 billion people around the world lacking access to clean water, which leads to a cycle of sickness, lack of education, poverty and needless suffering.  The Water Project and Penson have teamed up to raise funds to support a series of well rehabilitations in the nation of Sierra Leone.  For more information on The Water Project, please visit their website at http://thewaterproject.org.
Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry seeking to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.  Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need.

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

The Susan G. Komen for the Cure Race Series is the largest series of 5K runs/fitness walks in the world.  The Komen Race for the Cure raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.
